About us

Who we are

Thurstan’s Rise Residents’ Association (TRRA) was formed in February 2020 to provide a collective voice, representing the 153 households here, in dealings with David Wilson Homes and other bodies responsible for maintenance of the estate, and in other matters affecting our day to day life.

Overall, we want to make this estate a pleasant, attractive and desirable place to live, within Coleford and our beautiful Forest.

What we do

TRRA aims to encourage the development of a strong sense of community within the estate as a whole. While not becoming involved in individual ‘neighbour disputes’, we will attempt to discourage anti-social behaviour on the estate, and encourage, where possible, individual responsibility and co-operation between neighbours.

About the website

We hope that TRRA members and others, on this estate and in Coleford as a whole, will find this website a useful resource for keeping up to date with local matters. TRRA is working closely with our local councils to make sure that our concerns are understood and taken into consideration.

We are particularly grateful to the shops and other local services who are supporting us by advertising on the website. We encourage users to visit the ‘Local Services’ page, and give your support to local businesses, who are doing their best for us all at this difficult time.
