GreenSquare – letter to residents
All estate residents should now have received a letter from ‘GreenSquare’ who have been appointed by David Wilson Homes (DWH), to manage and maintain the Public Open Spaces (POS) on the estate. The letter is copied below for information.
Our previous news post (‘Good Result!’) gives details of our discussions with DWH regarding the completion of the outstanding landscaping works on the POS, and the schedule they have agreed. The first stage of this will involve a survey or ‘landscape audit’ to determine what work is outstanding, and to establish a planting schedule.
Although GreenSquare acknowledge that the works are incomplete, and have been further delayed by the ‘Covid19’ pandemic, they state that they will be reviewing the position early next year with a view to implementing the maintenance charge, to which we are all liable, from April 2021. At this time, as outlined in our previous post, TRRA is actively working with DWH on this and several other outstanding issues.
The TRRA is therefore advising householders that we should resist paying any maintenance fees to GreenSquare, until such time as the landscaping works have been completed to the design specification in the approved estate plan.

The TRRA committee will continue to monitor progress, and maintain pressure on DWH to ensure that there is no further delay in completing these landscaping works.
